Terms of service

By using MOSS Image AI you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

MOSS Image AI turns text prompts into images with MOSS-Image, an open text-to-image model published by OpenMOSS, run for us by third-party inference providers. Results vary from prompt to prompt and may not match your description exactly.

2. Independence

MOSS Image AI is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenMOSS or the developers of MOSS-Image. The model's name is used only to describe what the service runs.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the service or its output to:

• create sexual content, or any content that sexualises or endangers minors;
• impersonate, harass, defame or depict real, identifiable people in ways they have not agreed to;
• mislead people into thinking an image is a real photograph of real events, including for fraud, political manipulation or fake endorsements;
• infringe anyone's intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights, including trademarks and copyrighted characters;
• break any law.

Prompts are checked automatically and our providers run their own safety filters; refused prompts cost nothing. We may suspend accounts and remove images that break these rules, without refund.

5. AI-generated content

Every image is synthetic. When you share one, don't present it as a genuine photograph of real events. We may add provenance metadata to output.

6. Credits and payments

Images are paid for with credits bought in one-time packs; new accounts also receive a small number of free credits. A standard image costs one credit and an HD image more, as shown before you generate. Credits don't expire and have no cash value. If a generation fails, or returns fewer images than you paid for, the missing credits are returned automatically. Prices are shown before checkout and payments are processed by Stripe. 7. Your prompts and images

You keep any rights you have in your prompts. You give us a limited licence to store and process them, and to send them to our inference providers, only to generate and deliver your images. As between you and us, you may use the images you generate for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, subject to these terms. The model's Apache 2.0 licence covers its weights and code; it does not guarantee that an image is unique or free of third-party rights, so review an image before relying on it commercially.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features or the provider that runs the model; if we shut down, we will refund unused credits.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
